Vivid 2026 — Live Art at the Opera House

Opera House live art at the Moonflower Suite — Vivid 2026.

One of the highest honours to make art in such an esteemed location, better yet surrounded by some of the most talented musicians in Sydney / Melbourne.

Due to high restrictions and constant back and forth with event management, I was only allowed a pencil and a dream. (I brought a big ass pencil.) It was only certain 1hr prior to the show that I was going to be on stage due to tight spacing requirements. Nevertheless we persisted and made it. Big ups to @laz_arroz_caldo_o for the push for me and organisation of the event visuals.

The work was made in the 2 hour duration of the performance, encapsulating the spirit of the jazz fusion sound in this geometric, puzzle-like composition. Featuring Laz on sax at the front, and the band members and instruments fusing into the architecture of the Opera House.

Graphite and acrylic on canvas, 50×50.

Very blessed 🇵🇭🙏
